Connaissez-vous le Rolex Institute? Ce n'est pas "que" du mécénat culturel comme on peut le penser. Copy/Paste:

(Founded: 1905; Headquarters: Geneva, Switzerland) that was founded with the aim of encouraging and bringing increased recognition to visionary individuals who make a meaningful contribution to the world in which we live through their exceptional talent, quality and achievements in the fields of science, culture, education and the arts. Savez-vous par exemple que l'écrivain Tahar Ben Jelloun (son site perso est ici) fut un des "mentors & protégés" de littérature en 2006? Très belle photo du père Tahar ici d'ailleurs. La vidéo ici vaut le détour. :-).

Mais ce qui a lu plus attiré mon attention est le projet Ashes and Snow qui promeut l'oeuvre de l'artiste canadien Grégory Colbert. Un mélange de vidéos et de photoraphies, un fond musical interrogeant l'existence de l'homme et de l'animal, à travers 40 expéditions en Namibie, Egypte, Inde etc. Un véritable plaisir sensoriel.
